About the Founder's
The Adventure Proof Diaper Backpack was created by two adventure-loving dads, Ryan and Joel, who wanted better gear for life outdoors with kids.
Before building Milk x Whiskey, we were constantly outside—traveling, hiking, and exploring with our children from a very young age. Like many parents, we searched everywhere for an outdoor-ready diaper backpack that could actually keep up. What we found were two bad options: using our personal hiking packs and dealing with total disorganization, or buying cheaper diaper bags that wore out, ripped, or failed within months.
Nothing felt designed for parents who actually get outside.
We didn’t want to keep buying bags we’d outgrow or replace every few years, and we couldn’t find a system that balanced durability, organization, and long-term use. So instead of settling, we spent years designing our own.
